Shacking Up With My Stud!
Hello My lovelies,
It's time for yet again another life update. Well, It's been a few weeks now and Mr. Handsome and I have officially moved in together! Although our living situation was kind of sort of all ready living together but my lease ended in my apartment as of February 28 so that is now 1 full week of us living under the same roof under the same lease!
Although I will be the first to admit, it's not the ideal living situation seeing as we live with his mom and brother... but this is perfect timing for both of us to save up for our move to Oregon. I've been hit with the wander bug lately and ever since him and I met, we've always discussed that Oregon is a point of interest for us. Eventually, when things started to get more serious between us, visiting turned more into moving and now we both are champing at the bit for us to pack up our things and make our way towards the Oregon trail! Why Oregon? Why NOT Oregon. Have you seen any photos of it? It's gorgeous. It's clean. There's fresh air as opposed to the smog ridden air we're breathing is Southern California. Yet, the most important reason we're really pushing Oregon is because of his occupation. He's a pipe maker/glass blower/ lamp worker WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT. The business is booming in Oregon. The weather is a lot endurable in Oregon, as opposed to the bipolar weather in California. Last week, it rained for 3 days. Today, it's a high of 80 degrees IN MARCH! So as you can imagine, working in a shop in front of a flame during high temperature days can get grueling. The climate is pretty neutral in Oregon so that's a plus. Also, many of his colleagues are located in Oregon. That means more opportunities to work with and collab with those artists and as any self starter knows, exposure is key. So over all, Oregon has no downfall and if we find out we don't like it there, California will always be our home.
