A Review - MAKE Beauty#MAKEYourself Makeup Products
Hello My Lovelies,
I know that I took a short little hiatus but with good reason. I will delve deeper and explain my absence in a post that is up and coming. Trust me, you'll want to read it!
Now, lets get into the review!
With all products that are sent to me for review, I like to test/try them for as long as I possibly can before I must submit my content to give it a fair and valid review.

I was sent a mini lipstick called Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy and a mini Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster for review:
First off. The size of these mini goodies were so absolutely adorable! They were ridiculously small but super cute and definitely enough to test out.
Let's start off with the matte eyeshadow... matte? YAAS. My all time favorite finish in shadows. I adore anything matte!
So I was a little afraid that the eyeshadow would be to pink for my skin tone and make me look like I had an eye infection or was crying since red/pink hues tend to do that. But, as I swatched it on my inner arm, I realized that, although it is minutely pink, it's more of a pearlescent shadow as opposed to a true matte. WOMP. I used it as a highlight instead and it worked great. Although disappointed that it's not really matte, it still turned out to be useful.
Take a look for yourselves:
Now, lets move onto the lipstick!
The lipstick that I was sent looks nothing like the photo since I was given a very small sample size. BUT, the color was still true. As you can see, it's a gorgeous mauve-almost-berry-rose color and I absolutely love shades like this.
It claims to be a silk cream lipstick but I actually found it rather chalky. I did not like it at all.
I tried to adjust accordingly to what I thought would help it, but nothing. I applied a small amount. Still chalky. I applied more. Still chalky and now cracked. I like the color but the formula is totally off. This was almost a matte type finish as opposed to a creamy silk. PEOPLE FROM MAKE BEAUTY Co. GET IT TOGETHER!
You guys have the potential to be really great but your fomulas are backwards!
All in all, I'd rate these products a 4/10. And, the 4 being the great shimmery highlight eyeshadow I was given.
