Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off
Hello My Lovelies!
In this round's Influenster Viva Voxbox, I received a Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off mask which was uhh-mazing! First off, let me just say that anything from this company is an A+ in my book. I've been using their products since I was in Jr. High! I've tried a range of their facial treatments from the glacial clay masks, to peel offs and from "smoothies" as well and they've all been great! This time, I received a complimentary sample of their Manuka Honey Peel Off mask from Influenster and Montagne Jeunesse for me to try out and review for you guys!
Let's get into the review!
On the packaging itself, it describes what type of mask it is as well as what it's made of and scent.
The one that I got was Manuka honey with a jasmine flower scent. I was really eager to try this out since I know honey is great for your skin. I applied the honey after I had cleaned and dried my face, I smothered it all over my face(making sure to avoid eyes and hair) and I didn't really pick up the jasmine scent but it did smell a lot like honey to me, obviously lol. Immediately after applying all of the product on I got a GREAT cooling sensation. I'm not sure if the product is supposed to do that or if the fact that I had a goopy gel on my face..either way, I sat on my bed and I fanned myself with the pamphlet it came with to add EXTRA cooling effect haha.
I applied a little too much on one side than the other so one side took a little longer than 15 mins to dry but that was my fault. When the face mask dried and set, you get this cool feeling of not being able to move a muscle in your face! I thought it was pretty funny! And here comes the fun part. THE PEELING! I started to move my mouth and raised my eyebrows to start to life the mask off(it wasn't painful) and the edges of the mask started to lift away from my skin and I *GENTLY* started pulling away the honey peel from my skin. It got a little painful around the nostril area's but felt just like a pore strip, so it wasn't that bad. When I removed the entire mask off it left my skin feeling super silky soft! Then here comes the fun part, examining the mask and seeing all your dead skin flakes and black heads it pulled out! I really enjoy all the Montagne Jeunesse products and this one was no disappointment!
Thank you Influenster and Montagne Jeunesse for my complimentary sample!
